Meet and Greet Book Talk with Dr. Roberts In-person

In partnership with the School of Historical, Philosophical and Religious Studies and Native Narratives Program, the Labriola Center is hosting an informal meet and greet with Dr. Alaina Roberts, author of "I've Been Here All the While: Black Freedom on Native Land." This meet and greet will take place Friday, February 13 in Hayden Library, 204 from 4 to 5 p.m.

Students are encouraged to read "I've Been Here All the While" (available as an Ebook at ASU Libraries!) and have a discussion with the author on the novel, her research methods, and storytelling methods. Registration link is in our LinkTree, located in our bio on Instagram.


Following this meet and greet at 6 p.m., attendees and ASU students are strongly encouraged to attend Dr. Robert’s lecture on her new research topic on theme of “Black Slavery, Native Nations and a Path to Reconciliation Register for the lecture at ASU Events here!
