Coptic Bookbinding at the Labriola Center

Coptic Bookbinding at the Labriola Center In-person

Have you ever wanted to learn how to bind and design your own journal or diary? Come join the Labriola Center at West campus for Coptic Bookbinding! Coptic bookbinding, or Coptic stitch bookbinding, is an ancient art form used to bind pages of a book together without glue or staples. Our Labriola archivist and librarian, Vina Begay will be instructing attendees on how to create their very own journal using acid free paper, a bookbinding kit, and coptic stitching.
